Hello there!

Hello there!
This week was warm and wonderful! It got to 70 degrees and we were blasting the A/C. Elder Olsen is brand new and he is in my district. He is from Hyde Park? and his mom taught with Micheal in Nibley! Last week had a lot of highs and lows. Being with someone 24/7 is not always easy. Don't worry, no real problems. Just the joys of being a missionary. D**** is getting baptized this SATURDAY! He will be my first real baptism, meaning the first person being baptized that I taught from the beginning. He is 20 and he is great. We were able to do service for a Less Active family on Saturday. I don't know if I was enjoying being outside, working, or wearing pants more. It was great.
Friends, people here roller blade. Like, it's a normal thing to do here. I see at least 20 people a day just bladin'. We would fit right in here! Also, silent football has helped me a lot on my mission. People start going off on weird things all the time and I just pretend like I'm playing silent football so that I don't laugh.
Tomorrow Sister Edstrom has another Leadership training in Bloomington so I am going on exchanges with the Spanish Sisters. You read that right, the Spanish sisters. I'm not sure how that is going to work but it should be an adventure. And I will be riding bikes with them! My favorite part of each week is district meeting. I really enjoy it and look forward to it. And I may or may not have found my eternal companion haha. Don't worry I'm still focused. My other favorite thing about being a missionary is that kids love me even more! I have a hard time not being able to hold babies.
The church is true and the only true one on the planet. And Heavenly Father knows you by name!
I Love you more than a fat kid loves cake.

Sister Szabo

Quite the week.

Well, it's been quite the week. On Tuesday two of our investigators dropped us and we met with a hater. On Wednesday Sister Edstrom was sick. Then I got sick. We laid in bed for days. We were going out of our minds. You can only watch Legacy and the district so many times before your head explodes. And Sister Edstrom unfortunately doesn't like to play games. On Friday we listened to Conference Talks and we slept and slept and slept. The worst part was I kept dreaming that I was at home in my bed wrapped in my pink blanket. Thankfully the Elders gave us blessing and were able to cover some of our appointments. On Saturday we had Zone Conference/interviews with President and Sister Clements so we tried to make ourselves presentable and struggled through it. We are now very behind on everything so it should be a busy week. It was probably for the best though, we may have been getting a little big headed with so many golden investigators falling into our laps. Sunday was good though, one of our investigators that dropped us came back and came to church and we ate dinner at the Bishops house and I LOVE his family! They have six little kids and they are so funny. If everything goes to plan we will have 3 baptisms on May 11!
I love you all, and to all a good night. Love, Sister Szabo

Pictures:
-Night before transfers = Elder Olveson's last night (Sister Edstrom, Me, Elder Olveson, from Idaho, and Elder Bast from Germany)
-One of our Less Actives makes animal costumes for a living haha :)
-You won't think the pony pictures is funny, but it is very funny to us. One of the Elders in our district is obsessed with my little pony so it's kind of a district joke, and I just wanted to show you some of the Bishop's cute kids.
-Sister Woodward, she is moving to Georgia this week, we call her our Minnesota Mom because she gives us really really long hugs and kisses our cheeks, We are teaching her son Logan he is 19 and he will be getting baptized on May 11!

This week was CRAZY

This week was CRAZY crazy busy! Our Area is BOOMING! We literally run from one appointment to the next. 6 of our investigators came to church yesterday! Our gospel principles class was so full that we had to move into the gym! (Sam, don't be hatin cause I'm in a state mission.) And this week is transfers...we are both staying but one of the Zone Leaders is leaving, which we are sad about. I can't remember if I told you about Q**** but he started talking to us at the library and he is on board to get baptized next month. He is from Illinois and just moved  here because he has been praying for truth and he felt like St. Cloud was where he needed to be.  He even bore his testimony in church yesterday. T**** and her kids were supposed to get baptized on the 27th but she has to work the next couple weekends so we pushed it back to May because she has to come to church one more time before she can get baptized. My district is great. On Wednesday night there was a really bad blizzard so our car was grounded until Thursday afternoon. It took us almost 2 hours to shovel the drive way. My pinky does not do so well in the cold. After we shoveled I couldn't straighten it out all day but it's fine. The whole last week is just jumbled in my head. I'm trying to think of what happened but the appointments all mesh together. My coat smells like a combination of 50 peoples houses and pets and word of wisdom issues. Our ward is really great. Testimony Meeting is bomb because everybody is a convert to the church so they all have really cool stories. Can you send me a list of what is in the box of stuff that wouldn't fit in my suit case? I think there was some contact solution and some other stuff and can you send me a picture of me at my baptism please?  My favorite thing is when black guys talk about their baby mommas. Every time they say baby momma I start laughing. Drugs are bad. I can start driving this week! The priesthood is real people. I love you all. Love, Sister Szabo

Conference is the best!

Conference is the best thing in the world! We watched it at the church and a few of our investigators came. I was eating up every word and I was so glad that the choir sang 'Let Us All Press On' because I sing that song whenever I get discouraged! Bowling last P-day was the BOMB! I bowled a 165! My district is great. Because of so many sisters coming out they are calling a Lead Sister for every district and Sister Edstrom is it for our district and she had training in Bloomington on Tuesday so I went on exchanges for the day with Sister Hartley in Shingle Creek. Her trainer is also the lead sister so we were two greenies on our own. It was quite the day and we were humbled and realized how much we need our Trainers. On Wednesday we had Zone Training which was great! We were super busy last week with appointments. The biggest miracle of the week was with a college student named K****. He texted us and his name was already in our phone because he had met with past missionaries. He asked to meet with us because he wants to get baptized. He grew up in a part member/less active home and he knows the church is true and realizes that he is missing out because he never got baptized. So we set his date for April 27! There is a family in the ward named the Swings, and their house is build EXACTLY like our house, spilt entry and everything. It really trips me up when we go there because it's my house but it's not. So you know the movie 'New in Town' and how they scrap book here? The movie ain't kidding, My little knowledge about the cricut cutter comes in handy in conversations. We are supposed to be ready to train by the end of our 12 weeks of training because of all the new Sisters coming out. I hope and pray that I won't have to. It is slowly getting warmer. The church is SO true. I love you very very very much!

Grandma/Grandpa/Peggy/Delaine: Thank you for the package! It was so wonderful and I love the huge Easter Eggs.

HELLO!!!!

HELLO!!!!!! My goodness I love you all! First off, this week I learned that tracking is actually called tracting. I struggle I know. K*** was baptized on Saturday and it was glorious! K*** is great and I love her! I spoke at her baptism and on Easter she was confirmed. The new missionary training went well. It was great to see my old district.Tomorrow we are going back to Bloomington because Sister Edstrom is the lead sister in our district and they have Leadership training so I am going to work in North Minneapolis with some other sisters for the day. I hear it's sketchy up there but I'm quite excited! Easter was great. We visited with a lot of Less Active single sisters. Member's fed us ALL day. We are coloring Easter Eggs tonight for FHE with a Less active Sister and her son A****, which I'm super excited for. A**** is in Kindergarten and we are best buds. I saw a blade of grass. It still had a couple feet of snow on top of it but it was sticking out. I must be a true Alleman since I bring up the weather every week :) We were meeting with a member earlier this week and she was making homemade bread and I got real homesick real fast. I just held the bread in my hands for a while and soaked up the smell. Have you guys been watching The Bible on the history channel? Everyone we talk to talks to us about it and it sounds really good. A kid my age named J****, from Africa referred himself from mormon.org and we met with him and it was amazing! He wants to know his purpose in life and wants to know God. He had never heard of Joesph Smith or the Book of Mormon. He came to K*** baptism! He is really cool and I can't wait to teach him again! We rode our bikes on Saturday. I loved it. I hope I get to be in a biking area in the summer. Our skirts kept getting caught in the chain but it was fun riding through big puddles. We are going bowling as a district today and I'm really really excited. I've been talking smack to everyone so I gotta bring my A-Game. A kid in my district is from Manti and we have a good time talking about Snow and about Richfield. I am SOOOOO so so excited for General Conference. As a mission we had march madness for baptisms and there was a goal to get 55 baptisms in the month of March and we had 47! It is the most baptisms per month since President and Sister Clements have been here.
