Hey dad, thanks for being a 007 fan. Yesterday we were eating lunch with a member and her husband is really less active and he opened right up to me after I was able to carry a pretty detailed conversation about Bond. I asked him to kneel with us l and say the closing prayer and his wife was floored when he agreed. Happy New Years Everyone! Read your scriptures! I LOVE YOU!

Well, it was good to see your faces. Thank you for the packages! I love Duluth and I love Sister Richardson and I love being a missionary. A came to church yesterday and she is going to get baptized on the 25th! We are teaching a lady name J and I know more about her cat fuzzy than I do about her. She is really great and she is going to fit right in with the ward. We had our second lesson with her and she had read 8 chapters of the Book of Mormon! We are going to get her a skirt so that she will come to church. We are really excited for school to start so that all the UMD students will come back into town. I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON! We are reading it as a mission before Easter and I am learning so much. Nephi is a stud.

Duluth is the greatest place in the entire world. I LOVE it here! We live right off of Lake Superior. It is HUGE! It literally looks like the ocean. There is SO much snow and it just keeps a coming. And we live in the cutest apartment. This won't mean anything to you but the Duluth ward is SO SO SO Minnestoan. Only in Duluth does the councilor giving his talk in church yesterday compare the gospel to Duck Dynasty. And people here are really nice. We laugh so hard when people are saying sorry as they are shutting the door in our face.
Sister Richardson is incredible! She is from California. And she is really cool. We have already been led to really prepared people. We went to Superior WI on Saturday and we taught 6 people Restorations lessons on the their doorstep and 5 of them accepted return appointments! We knocked into a kid named D who's friend had just given him a Book of Mormon and had already invited him to church the next day. We are going back to teach him and his mom tonight! We also knocked into a woman who in the 80's sent in for a free tape from the church and it helped with her depression but she had no idea that there was a church in the area!
There are three sets of missionaries in our ward and we are going to baptize like crazy. We have the zone leaders and us and our district leader and his companion. They both have set baptisms and the Elders gave us their investigator A who is going to get baptized next month!
I was praying the other night and I said "Heavenly Father I'm so grateful for all the hard times I went through in Andover that have gotten me to where I am" and then I paused and thought wow did I really say that. And then I pondered about it for a while until I came to the conclusion that I really am grateful because everything I went through there has prepared me to be here and to be a STL. I feel like i'm learning a life time of life lessons all shoved into 18 months.
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! I love you ALL! Love, Sister Szabo
Monday, December 16, 2013
Alright Alright Alright this morning I turn to sister smith and say "Either my will is finally aligned with Heavenly Fathers or I am getting transfered" and then the phone vibed and it was President. Everyone pray that I don't get frostbite BECAUSE I'm going up north to Duluth. I will be serving in North Shore. Oh baby. I'm going to be a sister training leader. I can't even keep track of the keys to our car let a lone take care of other sisters but I guess God knows what he is doing. I'm going to be companions with Sister Richardson. We are going to be the test drive for the mission for having STL companionships. Oh and we are white washing because the sister that was there got sent home so President called and talked to me about regaining the trust of the members. Yee Haw. I'm most excited to see the Northern Lights! So cool!
I'm really sad to leave Sister Smith and that I'm going to miss Sister M"s baptism. It has been so cool teaching Sister M, her countenance has literally changes since she has started reading the Book of Mormon. Me and Sister Smith taught really well together. She is really smart so she explains the doctrine and then I chime in and finish off and testify. I got to go on exchanges back to Med Lake. It was incredible! They have been really struggling so I brought my old planners and set up a bunch of appointments with people that I had met when I was there. I got to see P and P. THE WHOLE FAMILY GOT BAPTIZED!! I'm gotta come back here in a year when they get sealed in the temple!
So we had set up where and when we were going to Skye but now that I'm getting shipped out of here I will have to let you know next week.
Last night we went to the Mormon Chorale Christmas Concert with Sister M. It was pretty legit. We have been shoveling like work horses. It really softens peoples hearts.
Man I wish I had time to tell you all the miracles and tender mercies that we see everyday. Things as small as Elder Hicken finding my name tag in the snow to us feeling like we need to stop by a potential gator and he answers the door and says "I just told me wife that I needed to call you two." Pretty much what I'm getting at is that being a missionary is the best thing in the entire world.
I know that this is God's work! I l am so thankful for the atonement and I love the Book of Mormon. I love you all. Merry Christmas! Love, Sister Szabo
The young women made us blankets for Christmas!
Monday, December 9, 2013
Alright here we go again. I can't believe how fast time is going. Sister M is incredible and she loves the Book of Mormon! She is rock solid and she even brought butter to the Christmas Party. Man being a missionary is the greatest. We feel like we need to walk down a street and Sister M "just happened" to be getting her mail at the moment we walked past and now she is bringing butter to the ward Christmas Party! We are going to try and move her baptism date up because we set it for the same day as the youth retreat and none of the Bishopric would be able to come. Yeah so everyone else dropped us so we are starting from scratch again. Yay for knocking. I have never been so cold and so happy at the same time. It is cold. Really cold. We cheer when it is a above 0! There was a freak storm on Tuesday and our cars got grounded so we walked our butts across town to an appointment! It was insane.
President had me bear my testimony at Zone Conference about my conversion as a missionary. It was actually a pretty cool experience. It was in the same chapel that I had my first zone conference in so I talked about how I was miserable and hating life the first time I sat in this chapel and how when we align our will with God, we can be happy and love doing His work. We got to watch Miracle after Zone Conference is was awesome! The Roushars that we live with put up a Christmas Tree just for us down stairs! It made us so happy. Sister Smith said I am starting to say some words like a Minnesotan. OH my goodness I almost forgot to tell you, I get to go on exchanges back in Med Lake this week. I'm so excited. I CAN"T BELIEVE THAT MCKAY IS HOME! I can't believe it!
Love you all!
We do service every week at the Stepaniaks and we found these little gems and we somehow got roped into doing a photo shoot with them on. Sister Stepianks son is on a mission in Alaska and she is convicned that we are going to get married. She even made me promise that she could be in the delieverly room when I have his babies. HAHAHA Oh boy! I love the Andover ward.
Sister Hartley! She has been up north FOREVER and she finally got transferred back down to the cities. Have I told you about the separate coat rooms they have in Minnesota chapels? We are standing in one. So many hangers.
We went to a members home for lunch and they put this sign out for us!
Wednesday, December 4, 2013
HELLO! Want to hear the coolest thing ever? Remember K that got baptized when I was in St. Cloud? President called me last night and told me he has just been to the baptism of his ENTIRE family. K baptized his mom and dad and two little brothers. It made me so extremely happy! I'm telling you K is going places in life. Do you remember after I got set apart and President Ivins said he felt prompted to tell me that I would be teaching some of God's very important children? When K got baptized I had the distinct thought that he is one of them. So cool!
Sister M finally wants to get baptized! She is going to get baptized at the beginning of January. If I get transferred...heaven help me.
We were knocking down doors last Monday and we knocked into a lady named D who never goes to church and never prays but she went to church the day before and prayed for help. She started crying on the door step and let us in. I truly felt like an instrament in God's hand at that moment.
Thanksgiving was weird but great. I sure love Minnesota. You may have to remind me that I said that when I am freezing my butt off.
I cannot fathom that it is already December. AHH!
Funniest story of the week was yesterday in Sunday School when we were talking about the Preisthood and Sister M was wondering why only men held it and she was having a hard time understanding until Sister Izzo said "It's like Christmas lights, there would be no Christmas lights up if it weren't for women." The men put them up but it's because of the women.
I LOVE YOU!
Love, Sister Szabo

Happy Thanksgiving! I literally feel like I was just sitting here writing you. This week flew by and I don't even know what to write about. The new awesome family we were teaching got antied and dropped us hard core which was really depressing, Needless to say we have been knocking a lot of doors! Our P-day is switched to Thanksgiving but we get to email today. I feel like I have fifty things to tell you but then I email and it's all over the place and then I don't tell you anything.
Have I told you about Crochet night? The most incredible woman lives in our ward started a crochet night for our investigator Sister M and every week she has a bunch of sisters in the ward over for dinner and then they crochet. It's the highlight of our week.
I'm learning the fine Minnesota art of layering clothing. If I don't survive the winter here just know that I love you all. My companion is amazing and we have been working our butts off. We are so worn out everynight but God always blesses us and gives us the strength that we need for the next day. I love Heavenly Father and I really don't like anti mormon material but I love you all. Love, Sister Szabo
new companion, Sister Smith
Monday, November 18, 2013
Okay I have so much to tell you but no time and I left my sticky note with everything to tell you at home. A lady in the Anoka ward cut our hair and the Elders hair this morning and it took forever and we still have a ton to do. The lady who cut my hair made me promise not to ever go 9 more months in my life without getting my hair cut again.
My new Companion is Sister Smith from Riverton. She is great and she is so smart, I ask her deep doctrine questions while we are knocking doors and she is a genius. She is super super concencrated and obedient! We have already seen lots and lots and lots and lots of miracles.
Did I tell you about C? Well she's great and we started teaching her and she has 2 sons still at home that we are going to start teaching too. She has tons of earrings and tats and we are making plans to turn her atheist husband into not an atheist.
Did I tell you that Jevohah Witnesses are the worst? Because they are. Well I love them because they are God's children but we keep prayerfully picking streets to knock and over and over again we find their materail inside the doors that we are knocking.
There are so many great people in our ward.
Ah I wish I could tell you all the miracles that we see everyday and I have so many good pictures to send you but I have no time. Sorry.
Can we take a second and talk about how I hit my nine month mark this week. SAY WHAT?
I love you all and I promise I will send a good email and lots of pictures home next week!
Love, Sister Szabo

Hello! I'm staying in Andover. Sister Smith is going to be my new companion and she just got done being trained. I'm not sure how I feel about it but like the rest of my mission I always have a lot of aligning to do. Heavenly Father will probably keep me here until I enjoy knocking doors which will probably be never. On the flip side my new sister training leader is in Med Lake so if I play my cards right I will be able to go on exchanges there.
Sister Melling went to a different church yesterday but agreed to still meet with us afterwards. We had the lesson at the church with an amazing joint teacher and the Elders came. The spirit was as thick as butter. It was the most spiritual lesson I have ever had on my mission.
I raked a lot of leaves this week.
It snowed.
The mission conference we had was incredible.
I love the Book of Mormon with all my heart.
I am learning so much from the woman in this ward.
I love you all and am missing you a lot this week.
Love, Sister Szabo

Hello! Yay for November and for new miles!
I went on exchanges in Shingle Creek and it was the best thing ever. In Shingle Creek there are even more apartments chuck full of Africans than in Med Lake! It was a miracle filled 24 hours and I even got to eat African Food. Let me paint a picture for you. In Shingle Creek we had an hour of finding time between appointments and we knocked on two doors in a whole hour because at both doors we taught a full restoration lesson and set baptismal dates. In Andover we have hours of finding time and we pick numerous streets to knock and go through all of them without teaching anyone anything. No complainants I just wanted that picture in your mind. I also realized that I have only gone to Shingle Creek on exchanges my whole mission.
Sister M was supposed to get baptized this Saturday but she thinks she hasn't gotten her answer about the Book of Mormon. So frustrating!
Sister J who came to church last week, dropped us stone cold this week. She had just dropped us and we were pretty bummed but we prayed really hard and then knocked into a family that let us come in and teach them about the restoration. I can now say I held a pet ferret while teaching a Restoration lesson!
We have a mission conference this week and Elder Carlos Godoy of the seventy is coming!
Transfers are next week which is crazy. Transfers mess with my mind. We will see what happens!
Life is good. I love Minnesota. I know this is God's work! Love, Sister Szabo

Well it's official...I love Andover! I despised this place when I got here but I've had a change of heart. This ward is amazing! There are so many incredible people here and I am learning so much.
I also LOVE the temple. Satan did not want our district to go to the temple. Everyone had rides lined up and everything fell apart the night before. Our ride got pink eye and all of the Elders rides bailed. Between us and the Elders I think we called everyone in the ward and Sister Hansen saved the day and was able to drive us last minute.
There was a funeral on Saturday for a man in our ward. I don't think there have ever been so many non members in the Anoka church building. We helped set up and then helped with the luncheon. Everyone was making fun of me because I had never been to a funeral that they didn't have ham and funeral potatoes. People here are really big into Taco Salad! My skills from helping Susan with receptions sure came in handy!
There was also the Ward Halloween Party on Saturday which was really great. We have been committing everyone we eat dinner with to invite their friends to the party and we had a pretty good turn out of non members.
The funniest moment of the week during a lesson. We were teaching Sister M the law of chastity and in Sister Hulets training she is supposed to lead out in teaching commandments so we had practiced and had a good lesson plan. I look over at her to start and there is pure fear in her eyes. It took everything in me not to laugh.
We are going on exchanges this week and I get to go to Shingle Creek. I am so excited to go teach me some Africans!
We had a mission goal to get 250 investigators to church and we have been falling just a little short every week and we finally hit it this week! Sister M and Sister J came to church! We used all of our miles to drive to have Sister J follow us to church but it was worth it! Yay for riding bikes in the rain.
Sister M is going to get baptized on Nov 9 if she gets her answer by then that the Book of Mormon is true! Yeah Buddy!
The church is so true and the gospel is incredible! Happy Halloween!
Monday, October 21, 2013
Say what? It's already P-day again. I don't even know where this week went. If I had a dime for every time I got mistaken for a Jevoahs Witness I would be set for life. Our ward is doing a 40 day fast for missionary work and it is working miracles! We have been working with two girls in the Anoka ward named C and J. J was baptized when she was 12 but fell off soon after. Their mom committed suicide last month and they have been going through the wringer. We had to wake them up and bring them breakfast but we got them to church yesterday! Last night we went with M and S to Bloomington to the Presidents Fireside where a few recent coverts share tell their story. The fact that we got to go was a miracle in its self. Our ride bailed last minute so we were calling everyone and their dog for a ride. Brother S an old recently reactivated man saved the day and drove us all. M leaned over during it and said she was nervous about when she will have to get up there and share her story! We are going to the temple as a district this week which will be amazing and is much needed!! It's getting COLD. I forgot about the frigged wind. Poor Sister Hulet from St. George is already wearing all her winter gear. She has never shoveled snow! Apparently Anoka is the Halloween Captial of the country. Don't know if that is true but people are going ALL out. It's weird and creepy but it gives us something to talk to people about about when we are knocking down their doors.
Life is good. The church is true. I love you all and to all a goodnight. Love, Sister Szabo

Funniest thing I saw this week was a church that was advertising that they had an ATM machine inside.
Greatest moments of the week:
Zone training and interviews with President. My interview with President was incredible.
M*** finally started reading the Book of Mormon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! I love her!
S**** came to church and we set a baptism date with her!
We knocked into a family and taught them the restoration and are going back to see them this week.
Did I tell you Sister Ballif is my sister lead trainer? Well she is and she is amazing.
We are going on exchanges this week!
Sister Hulet nailed a squirrel with the car.
Meeting one of our investigators Pastor. Intense.
Rainy Rainy days.
I love the Book of Mormon.
I'm learning a lot about patience.
Life is good.
The church is true.
I have the best family in the entire world.
Love, Sister Szabo
can't you just feel the companions hip unity radiating from this picture
I debated sending this picture home. But it is what it is. Take it or leave it.

Hello Hello! GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THE BEST THING EVER. I was eating up every second. I was thinking about my first General Conference in St. Cloud and I remember wondering where I would be in October. Never would have dreamed at that point that I would be training and opening an area. My my my. Wonder were I will be next Conference. Melodie came to General Conference, which was incredible! Elder Dube came with Elder Holland when they came to Minnesota so I really enjoyed his talk. Africans are the best. Believe it or not his accent is pretty mild!
We helped a family in our ward who is moving to Eagle Mountain pack. If you could only see her craft room. I'm still trying to decide if her or grandma has more fabric. Our temple square family dropped us which was depressing. But I know they will get baptized someday. So all is well. BUT, The Elders gave us a family that they have been working with and the Anoka Elders in our district gave us a 11 year old girl that they are teaching. I LOVVVVVVE teaching kids. She lives in a really really bad situation and I know that gospel and the young women's program is going to change her life. Hope you don't mind if I bring her home with me along with Budda, Preness and Diego. (I figure they can take Drew's room since he'll be gone :) )
It has been raining a bunch. They rain storms are incredible but not so ideal to be a missionary in.
Thank you SOOOOO SOOOO much for the package. Packages are the best. I can literally feel the love come out of them when I open them. Earlier that day I was telling Sister Hulet about conference bingo so we had a good laugh when I pulled it out and said "see I told you, it's the best thing ever." The new shade shirts are super. Thank you much! I started laughing when I put them next to my old ones which I though were white. How did you know I love dried pineapple? It's the best thing ever. Aunt Susan sent me some a while ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since.
Thomas S. Monson is a prophet and this is Jesus Christ's church. I love Heavenly Father and I love all of you! Until next week..love, sister szabo.
Monday, September 30, 2013
Well, what do you know I'm staying in Andover. Ready or not here I come. Yay for October and for being able to drive our car again. I'm extremely extremely excited for General Conference. I can't believe that it was a year ago when I decided to go on a mission. That girl did not know what she was getting herself into. The Relief Society Broadcast was amazing!!!! President Monson's talk was worth more then a million bucks. Isn't that so cool that there is a Prophet on the earth? I sure think it's pretty cool. I can't remember if I wrote home about the old couple that we helped set up for their garage sell but they are super active Methodist but they are interested in the Book of Mormon and they really like when we come over. I will never take having investigators for granted again. M*** came with us to a baptism of an awesome family Fridayy and she came with us to the Relief Society Broadcast Saturday! Super spiritual high weekend. So Sister Hulet HATES dogs and we were teaching this crazy guy who has two HUGE dogs and they were all up on Sister Hulet the entire lesson. It was sooo funny. I kept trying to get them to come to me but they just laid across her the entire time we were there. Sister Beeson is getting transferred far away so I won't be able to see her for a long time, which is sad. Life is good. Missions are hard. The Holy Ghost is incredible. The church is true. Thanks for the prayers, I really need them. I LOVE YOU ALL!
thought I would share the picture I look at on my camera whenever I need a good laugh. Diego was showing me his "mustache hair" Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?
Monday, September 23, 2013
Hello Hello! This week was really really rough but it ended good...M** came to church! It was the primary program and the spirit was oh so strong. Knocking doors is numbing. So you know how i'm really bad at budgeting money? Well I'm even worse at budgeting miles so we are going to be biking our butts off this week. I'm learning a lot. I can't believe it's already week 5 of the transfer. The days seem ETERNAL but the months are flying by. We had zone training this week which was great and even greater because I got to see Sister Beeson! Remember the family that toured temple square? We were finally able to see them again yesterday and we set up a return appointment. I feel really good about them and can't wait to meet with them. This week was definetly a low one of the missino but Friday we had an incredible day. We had a full day of knocking ahead of us but we prayed really hard for strength to get through the day and told Heavenly Father that we were going to stick exactly to our plans and we asked Him to place people in our path. We saw miracle after miracle. We accidently knocked into a less active and three people let us teach them on their doorstep and an old couple let us help them set up for their garage sell and said we can come back. Sister Hulet had to have an intervention with me because I'm biased against rich white catholic people and refuse to knock in ritzy neighborhoods. We play a game and try to guess if they are Lutheran or Catholic before knocking on their door. I'm winning. Thanks for all the prayers. I love you all. Love, Sister Szabo the older

WE HAVE AN INVESTIGATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her name is M*****. We were completely led to her by the spirit. We are led to a lot of people by the spirit but she actually wants to learn. We freaked out when we called to confirm our appointment and she said we could still come over. THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!!! We had new missionary training in Bloomington which was really good. Sister Ballif is training as well so it was a nice treat to see her. I don't think I ever told you about her but she is amazing and she's helped me out a lot. I found out that T****'s son, K**** and a girl E*** that I was teaching in St. Cloud got baptized and J***, the black guy in the picture with the gun is gettting baptized!! We had interviews with President and he gave me a blessing. I love the Priesthood. So they cut our miles, which is no bueno. We get to ride our bikes even more. It's all fun and games until you are in the middle of Ham Lake and it starts to down pour and you are very far from your car. We were drenched. Like wringing out our skirts drenched. What can you do but laugh. We were too far from our house to drive and change and it was to far to bike so we kept going and passed out moist mormon.org cards. The Elders found an apartment with Africans. We knocked the crap out of it. Africans are amazing. I saw "We are representatives of Jesus Christ and we are here to share His message with you" and they let you in. I've tried it on white people. They slam the door in our faces. Last night we got to go to the Presidents fireside in Bloomington and I got to see SISTER BEESON!!! Wait, it gets better. The boys and Janelle and Dustin were all there. I cried and they cried and the boys all hugged attacked me. D**** and J***** are getting married and the whole family is getting BAPTIZED! It's incredible. They joke and say they are going to move to AF when we get home because me and Sister Beeson will both be there. People, Jesus loves you. Read your scriptures and say your prayers.
It's going to be a loooong winter!
this picture will only mean something to a few people. but it's the best thing ever :)
It's going to be a loooong winter!
AHH I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH.
Monday, September 9, 2013
hey hey hey. This week has been a long slow week full of knocking. Seriously tender mercies are the only thing that get me through each day. Our area is huge and we don't have very many miles so we get to ride our bikes everyday. Biggest tender mercy of the week...we were far from home and out of water and we had been tracting ALL day. We were really really hot and tired and a nice women let us come in and sit down. She wasn't interested at all but to sit on a couch with a/c for 2 minutes felt amazing. We knocked into a family who toured temple square two weeks ago while they were in Utah for a competition. We have really really really really really high hopes for them. We get to go to Bloomington for new missionary training Wednesday. I am really excited to see Sister Ballif. And I am counting down the days until zone conference when I get to see Sister Beeson. I really miss her. Things are good. It's just really easy to lose perspective and hope. Satan is the worst. The church is true. Funniest story of the week. We were knocking doors and we were having a pretty good conversation with a guy: Steve "yeah and those mormons think theirs is the only true church on the earth" me: "Uhhh did you know we are mormons?" awkward silence. k thanks bye. I love you all. Thanks for everything Love, Sister Szabo
Thanks for the package! Seriously thank you. You have no idea. I feel so alone out here but I know that Heavenly Father is with me. Training is hard and opening an area is hard. But I am learning a lot and learning to rely 100% on the Lord. Thanks for all the prayers. Some days all that gets me through is knowing I have you all at home praying for me. I love you all so much! Thanks for sending me that letter that Sister Beeson wrote you. She is the greatest. I LOVE YOU! I hope the pictures I send makes up for the lack of words I use :)
Caught in a rain storm in the middle of no where.
Exchanges with Sister Donohue
Monday, September 2, 2013
Hello one and all. Sorry for the depressing letter last week. Thanks for all the prayers and letters and packages. Seriously couldn't have made it through the week without them. I went on exchanges with Sister Dononce. She is brand spanking new and she is incredible. She was baptized three years ago and she is on fire.
We knock and knock and knock and knock doors. "I have my faith and i'm not looking for change" BLAH BLAH BLAH. We have had some incredible miracles. When i was with Sister Dononce the GPS whacked out and took us to who knows where. We decided to knock some doors and a lady was outside of her house with her son and we had a really good conversation with her and she is really open. miracle miracle.
God sends little tender mercies to get us through the day. I think God is trying to teach me to rely on him 100% because I really don't know how I'm going to get through each day so I pray a lot and somehow make it through the day. If I had to compare this ward to something it would be the ward we go to when we go to the cabin with the Johnsons. Lots of cowboy boots. I love it here, it's just not an ideal place for missionary work.
And the BIGGEST BEST miracle ever...remember Peace Ngufa that we were teaching with Elder and Sister Mathis? She got baptized last week in the Med Lake ward. She moved to Andover to live with her dad. Say what? If I'm in this area just to get her situated in the new ward then I'm okay with that. The ward doesn't quite know what to do with a Lyberian.

Janelle and the boys came to a movie night we had on Tuesday and it was amazing. Janelle wants to be baptized and her and Sister Beeson had an amazing conversation while I was messing around/saying goodbye to the boys. They loved their CTR rings! They were really sad when I told them I was leaving and I may have cried. Alot. I really miss them and I miss Sister Beeson. It's been a really rough week.
Opening an area is not fun. We have nothing. I've knocked more doors in the last four days then I have on my whole mission. Sister Hulet is my new companion. She is from St. George. Everyone here is white and is Catholic. I'm having African withdrawls and major Sister Beeson withdrawls. I feel like i'm going to be in Andover for a long time so I best be changing my attitude. Thanks for the prayers. I've definetly felt them this week. I can't tell you how many times on my mission I've felt a calm come over me and a little voice pops in my head saying it was because prayers from home. I love you all so much. Hopefully next week I'll have lots of miracles to report.
Sister Nguafa. So sad that I missed her baptism
Sister Pugh. I love her.
Preness, Prinell, Diego
Brother/Si ster Asamoah, she hugged me about 50 times before I left. She will get baptized someday!
Ernie, Sister Asamoah's Brother. We love Ernie.

Heaven help me. I am training and opening a new area. I may or may not be freaking out. It's fine. It's fine. It's going to be okay. Holy cow I'm a hot mess. I'm opening Andover. Thankfully I'm still in the same Zone. I got a text last night telling me to be on conference call this morning, meaning I was training. Then Sister Beeson got a text for the same thing. There may have been a few tears shed last night. We really really wanted to stay together.
Okay anyways,Yesterday B***, P****, and D*** came to church AND their mom, J**** came AND her boyfriend! It was amazing. We were SO happy. J**** thought it was long but she liked it. Ah it was amazing and made the whole transfer worth it. I'm so sad to leave the boys and this area but I know that Sister Beeson needs to be here to teach J**** and C***.
Twins Game!
Medicine Lake
We were walking down a street. Stop and talked to a lady working in her flower garden. By the time we left we had tons and tons of flowers and we had quite the walk back to our car holding mounds of flowers. Probably one of those "you had to be there stories"
